The U-450-120K is a centrifugal coal slurry pump in the К-series mobile line produced by Kemerovo Engineering Plant (KemMash), a Siberian mining-machinery manufacturer with over 15 years of continuous production experience supplying the Kuzbass coalfields and other mining regions. The К-series is built for mobile deployment on mine sites — the diesel-drive configuration of this unit eliminates dependence on fixed electrical infrastructure, making it practical for remote surface workings and emergency response scenarios.
The pump moves chemically neutral water-coal hydromixtures (pH 6–8) with solid particles up to 70 mm at a rated capacity of 450 m³/h against 120 m total head. It handles slurries with solid-to-liquid mass ratios up to T:W = 1:3 and rock content up to 40 % of the solid phase, operating continuously at process temperatures between +1 °C and +50 °C.
Pump efficiency at the rated duty point is 60 %, total pump mass is 1,655 kg, and the overall envelope is 2,040 × 975 × 1,035 mm. The unit is classified as a Type B (recoverable) product per GOST 27.003, designed for on-site maintenance and in-field impeller trimming to adjust performance.
