The LDP-16 desk-teaching station is a combined teacher's desk and lectern manufactured by Berezka Furniture Factory (BEREZKA LLC), a furniture maker founded in 2000 in Kazan, Russia, and one of the largest producers of school furniture in Tatarstan and the surrounding regions. The unit measures 1200 mm wide, 1000 mm high and 700 mm deep: a full-size work desk topped with a raised superstructure that lets the teacher address the class while standing or keep teaching materials at eye level.
The carcass is built from 16 mm laminated chipboard, with the worktop and the top of the superstructure protected by a 2 mm PVC edge band and the remaining carcass panels finished with 0.4 mm PVC edging. Two pull-out drawers mounted on metal slides provide storage for documents, registers and classroom supplies.
Berezka operates a full closed-cycle production facility with modern equipment, designs its furniture to Russian GOST and SanPiN standards, and supplies products with hygiene certificates and declarations of conformity. The factory uses laminated chipboard and plywood of emission class E1 and rounds off exposed edges for safety, which has made it a long-standing supplier to ministries of education, school districts and universities across the Volga region.
