The 150 GSV is a deep drilling machine for producing precise deep holes in metal workpieces — the specialized operation behind hydraulic cylinders, shafts, molds and barrel-type components that ordinary machining centers handle poorly. The machine drills holes from 4.95 mm diameter over lengths from 285 to 800 mm, with two spindles for productivity, working feeds of 10–225 mm/min and rapid traverse at 6 m/min.
Center height is 85 mm, machine accuracy class N per GOST 8-82, and the installed unit weighs about 3,100 kg. Deep hole drilling demands rigid construction and controlled chip evacuation, which is precisely what dedicated machines of this type deliver: straight, accurate bores at depth-to-diameter ratios impossible on conventional equipment.
