Designed for quantitative determination of concentration of cross-linked fibrin degradation products (XL-PDF) - D-dimers in human blood plasma by turbidimetric analysis. D-dimers are most widely used for diagnostic purposes to exclude VTE, DVT and TELA.
The method of D-dimers determination is based on its interaction with monoclonal antibodies against D-dimers conjugated to latex particles. When latex particles interact with the sample of blood plasma under study, agglutination of antibody-coated latex particles is observed, leading to a change in optical density, which is proportional to the concentration of D-dimers in the sample under study.
ReDimer test allows to determine the concentration of D-dimers in the range from 200 to 4000 ng/ml. Kit contents: Latex-reagent blue (6.0 ml ) - 4 fl.; Reaction buffer (7.0 ml ) - 4 fl.; Imidazole buffer (5.0 ml ) - 1 fl.; D-dimer calibrator blue, lyophilically dried (volume after reconstitution 1.0) - 1 fl.
