The CDN-630 and CDN-710 are heavy-duty horizontal two-stage cylindrical gear reducers featuring the Novikov circular-arc tooth profile -- a design that delivers higher load-carrying capacity and smoother gear meshing than conventional involute gearing. They are manufactured in Penza, Russia by PTC PRIVOD LLC, a dedicated producer of gearboxes and motor-gearboxes built to GOST standards with full factory warranty.
The CDN-630 is rated for a nominal output torque of 71,000 Nm (up to 75,000 Nm at 1,000 rpm), weighs approximately 3,330-3,691 kg, and requires 410 liters of gear oil. The larger CDN-710 develops up to 100,000 Nm on the slow-speed shaft, weighs 4,540-4,920 kg, and needs 573 liters of oil.
Both models offer 18 selectable gear ratios spanning 8 to 50, covering an exceptionally wide range of speed-reduction requirements.
Operational flexibility is a key strength: the reducers support continuous duty up to 24 hours per day, unidirectional and reversing loads, and shaft rotation in either direction. Multiple shaft-end configurations -- cylindrical, conical, hollow splined, and gear-coupling half-shaft -- allow straightforward integration into diverse drive trains.
Climatic variants U1, U2, U3, UHL-4, T1, T2, T3, and O4 per GOST 15150-69 cover temperate, Arctic, and tropical operating environments.
