Description

Orthopaedic Apparatuses for lower limbs and torso are made according to individual technical process and consist of apparatuses for both lower limbs, rigidly connected by metal hip joints, which fix the whole leg with a corset of various modifications depending on medical indications, including: with functional-correcting corset; with fixing corset, requiring high fixation of the torso.
All corsets are made from a thermoplastic impression by deep vacuum extraction using a customised process with two fasteners on the front surface. The fastenings are made in the form of Velcro tape and a metallic stud with a leather base. Plastic sleeve of the corset is made of low-pressure polyethylene 5 mm thick (of different thickness, depending on the weight, anthropometric data of the patient, stiffness of deformation) by vacuum forming on the positive side.
