The earmoulds are made according to the impression taken by the customer and sent to the manufacturer. The variant of execution and type of earmould is set according to the customer's requirements in accordance with TU 32.50.50-023-81271212-2018.
Purpose: an individual earmould is a device connecting the acoustic output of the hearing aid with the external ear canal and intended for the delivery of amplified acoustic signals.
Principle of operation: the earmould is worn on the hearing aid (in BTE and modular hearing aids) or on the telephone (in RIC and pocket hearing aids) and placed in the user's ear canal. The amplified acoustic signal from the SA is transmitted through the earmould to the eardrum or as vibrations from the hearing aid over the skull bone to the user's inner ear.
