The CP-Z-2 reader (mod. MF-I) overhead is used in access control and management systems (ACS) to transmit to the controller the code of the brought to him identifier (card, key fob, bracelet, etc.) standard Mifare protocols iButton (Dallas Touch Memory) or Wiegand.
A distinctive feature of the reader is the realisation of the "protected mode" of operation. The protection against copying and uncoordinated ACS maintenance is based on pre-initialisation of readers and identifiers with the same secret code. The IronLogic Object Card is used as the secret code custodian. After initialisation, the reader will transmit to the controller the serial number (UID) of only those cards that are initialised with the same object card. Up to 25 object cards can be used simultaneously to initialise the reader.
