The FORSAZH-MP5 is a compact wire feeding mechanism produced by GRPZ, the State Ryazan Instrument-Making Plant — a major Russian instrument manufacturer whose FORSAZH line covers professional arc welding equipment. The unit feeds solid or flux-cored wire of 0.6–2.0 mm diameter for semi-automatic welding in active or inert shielding gases and is certified by NAKS under RD 03-614-03 for use on supervised industrial sites.
Its feed system is built around the four-roller Cooptim drive (Hungary), which delivers high torque with smooth, stable wire travel and reduced wire crushing, making it suitable even for soft wires. Interchangeable guide bushings and drive rolls allow quick changeover between wire diameters.
Weighing only 9 kg with a 460×180×260 mm housing and a standard 200 mm euro spool, the MP5 is designed for work in confined spaces. It operates from 22–30 V, supports welding currents up to 400 A at 100% duty cycle, and offers wire feed speeds of 1–15.8 m/min with adjustable gas pre-flow and post-flow.
The feeder pairs with FORSAZH-302 and FORSAZH-502 power sources, as well as other machines providing a built-in 24 V supply, and ships with four sets of drive rollers and a 5 m cable extendable to 60 m on request.
