The illuminator is designed for indoor use to kill bacteria and viruses in the air and/or on surfaces by means of ultraviolet radiation. The principle of action is based on the application of UV radiation, the source of which are bactericidal lamps installed in the irradiator.
More than 60 per cent of the radiation is emitted at a wavelength of 253.7 nm, which ensures maximum action. Irradiators are used in the premises of medical and preventive institutions (LPI) in the absence of people in the room at the stage of preparation of the room for work as the final link in the complex of sanitary and hygienic measures to reduce microbial contamination of the air and surfaces in accordance with the Guidelines R 3.5.1904-04 and in accordance with SP 2.1.3678.
