The R1-SKV is a combined air separator for industrial grain cleaning, rated at 100 t/h when processing wheat at 15% moisture and up to 3% weed content. It is manufactured by MELINVEST OJSC (АО «Мельинвест»), a Nizhny Novgorod-based specialist in grain milling and processing equipment with a long record of supplying mills, elevators, and grain-handling facilities across Russia.
The machine integrates three cleaning stages in one compact unit: an aspirator that strips light aerodynamic impurities in a first pass using two centrifugal fans; a circular-motion sieve body that separates impurities differing from the grain in width and thickness (oscillating at 360 ±20 rpm, radius 9 ±2 mm); and dual pneumatic channels for a final control pass that removes any residual light particles. This three-stage sequence delivers a guaranteed cleaning efficiency of at least 60% from separable weed impurities.
Total installed power is only 8.59 kW — 6.75 kW for the aspirator, 1.5 kW for the sieve body, and 0.34 kW for the pneumatic channels — giving an outstanding performance-to-energy ratio. Air consumption on the separation circuit is up to 9700 m³/h at the inlet and 7300 m³/h at the outlet, with aerodynamic resistance not exceeding 800 Pa.
Overall dimensions are 2720 × 3040 × 2800 mm with a mass not exceeding 2900 kg, so the R1-SKV slots easily into existing grain-cleaning lines without major civil modifications.
