CNC spur lathe is designed for cutting spur and helical spur gears of external and internal meshing by disc chisels according to GOST 9323-79 and GOST 10059- 80 by rolling method. The machine has a vertical layout, i.e. the axis of the tool and the workpiece are located vertically. Cutting movement of the tool (chisel) is carried out due to reciprocating movement of the slide spindle.
The machine has a "rigid" electronic kinematic connection between the rotation of the tool (chisel) and the workpiece to realise the running-in movement. The drive for table face rotation, reciprocating tool movement, circular tool feed and radial table feed are provided by variable frequency motors with built-in feedback sensors.
