The 1542.3730-10 is a 24 V circulation electric pump produced by ELTRA-TERMO, a Rzhev-based manufacturer established in 1999 on the site of the ATE-3 plant and one of Russia's first companies specialising in engine pre-start heating and cabin heating equipment for trucks and buses. The unit combines a two-wire DC electric motor with a centrifugal pump head and is designed to circulate low-freezing coolant through the engine cooling and cabin heating circuits of a vehicle.
It is supplied as the circulation pump for liquid pre-start heaters of the 15.8106-15, 12ZhD and 16ZhD types (24 V) fitted to KAMAZ, MAZ, PAZ and UralAZ vehicles. The pump delivers a flow rate of at least 1,800 l/h at a pressure differential of 0.015 MPa, draws no more than 1.9 A from the 24 V on-board network, and connects to the coolant lines through 18 mm hose fittings.
With a weight of only 1.1 kg, it is compact enough for engine-bay installation on heavy trucks, buses, tractors and special machinery, where it keeps coolant moving while the pre-heater warms the engine before a cold start.
