Cement smoke pumps of right and left rotation (centrifugal), designed to exhaust flue gases from a rotating cement kiln with dust content not more than 30 g/nm3 - not more than 60 g/nm3. Smoke pump structurally consists of a guide apparatus, necessary for regulating the parameters of operation, spiral casing, impeller, which serves to transfer energy to the flow from the drive motor and running gear.
In the process of medium movement in the impeller, the flow is dynamically influenced by the blades and is involved in rotational motion. This results in a change in the momentum of the transported medium and an increase in its potential and kinetic energy.
The increase in flow energy is expressed as an increase in static and dynamic pressure.
