The support module is used in tibia, femur and post-extracted femur prostheses, compensates for the shortening of the amputated part of the tibia or femur and provides adjustable connections to other modules.
The support module consists of a tube and a sleeve pressed onto it. The sleeve has a spherical bearing surface and is fitted with four 14 mm long screws for connection to the prosthesis modules. In the prosthesis, this connection allows angular adjustment in the frontal and sagittal planes with screws ranging from minus 3 to plus 3 degrees. A screw is used to increase the adjustment up to 7 degrees.
Modules are mounted on the tube, having elements in the form of a tie clamp with an inner diameter of 30 mm. In the prosthesis, this connection allows horizontal rotation to the required angle.
The support module is compatible with modular systems of lower limb prostheses of other manufacturers using connection elements according to GOST R 51191. Material: stainless steel.
