The axial smoke pump is designed for suction of flue gases from pulverised coal and gas oil boilers equipped with effective gas cleaning, at dustiness not more than 0,2 g/nm3. The smoke pump can also be used in other installations of various industries with similar performance indicators.
Smoke pump structurally consists of a suction pocket, guiding apparatus, necessary for regulation of operation parameters, casing, impeller, which serves for energy transfer to the flow from the drive motor, straightening apparatus and outlet diffuser (channel with smoothly increasing cross-section), which serves for additional conversion of the dynamic pressure of the flow coming out of the straightening apparatus into static pressure. In the flowing part of the axial machine, the flow is energised by moving in the axial direction.
