AUX additive is a mixture of polymer obtained by condensation of naphthalene sulphonic acids with formaldehyde and sodium salts.
Depending on the mass fraction of free formaldehyde in the finished product, the additive "AUX" types AUX", "AUX R", "AUX L" and "AUX T" are obtained
The AUX additive is used:
- in the rubber and synthetic rubber industry, in the leather industry, in the textile and aniline dye industry;
- as a plasticiser for concrete and mortars;
- as a liquefier of raw material mixture to reduce the moisture content of sludge in cement production;
- as a raw component in the manufacture of complex additives for concrete and mortars;
- as a binding material in the production of moulding and core mixtures in iron, steel and non-ferrous casting; in the granulation of carbon black and porous fillers from bulk powdery materials; in the sintering of ferrous metal ores.
