- local heating and prevention of hypothermia when working in the cold;
- increasing the time of staying in the cold;
- extending the temperature range of overalls.
The autonomous heat source is a thermochemical disposable heating element placed in an individual hermetic polymer package to prevent unauthorised activation during storage. The heating element is a shell made of soft gas-permeable cloth, inside of which a heat-producing mixture is placed. Composition of the fuel mixture: iron powder, water, activated carbon, natural minerals.
