Automatic direction finder RDF 734 (hereinafter - ARP) is designed for automatic measurement of bearing on the aircraft at the time of its short-term exit to communication (emission of carrier frequency signal) on the radio channel VHF-band. The bearing signal is formed relative to the location of the ADF antenna. When using a system of direction finders and transmitting information to a single control centre, each bearing is formed relative to its own receiving location.
The ADF shall include a set of spare equipment and accessories.
Each ARP includes a set of operational documentation.
Sealing of the product is made at shipment according to the operating manual for the beacon and devices included in the set RDF 734.
The ADF equipment is developed on the basis of microprocessors, microcircuits of high degree of integration, semiconductor microwave devices and strip microwave devices.
The control of the ARP can be local or remote.
