The Massage Effect-2 G-type automatic cattle grooming brush is produced by Milk Technologies LLC, a Russian manufacturer of dairy and livestock equipment. Designed specifically for loose-housing (free-stall) dairy and beef operations, the brush provides continuous on-demand grooming that reduces stress in cattle and, as a direct consequence, improves herd health and increases milk yield.
The unit runs on 230 V / 50 Hz single-phase power and is driven by a 0.55 kW electric motor spinning the conical brush head (35×70 mm) at 60 RPM. Overall dimensions are 148 × 350 × 153 mm and the unit weighs 120 kg including the mounting column.
The brush housing and gear drive are protected against water splashes and dust. Activation is fully automatic — the motor starts the moment an animal pushes against the brush, and a 10-second pause after each session encourages turnover so more animals can benefit.
An integrated overload mechanism reverses rotation if a tail or similar obstruction becomes wound around the bristles. Mounting height is set by the farm's animal scientist to suit the herd.
The brush is rated for both indoor barn installation and outdoor covered yards, making it a versatile welfare investment for farms of any scale.
