The ARTIC-850 is a multi-purpose fast duty boat of rigid inflatable (RIB) design built by Marine Pro Boats (LLC Marin Pro Metal Bots), a Russian yard founded in 2005 within the TOP MARIN group, which specialises in marine rescue craft. With an overall length of 8.5 m and a beam of 3.2 m, the boat carries a PVC tube collar 0.7 m in diameter divided into 5+1 inflatable compartments, giving high reserve buoyancy and stability for work at sea.
Power comes from twin inboard diesel engines rated at 2 x 230-270 hp, driving either sterndrives or a waterjet at the customer's choice, for a speed of no less than 25 knots and a range supported by 500-litre fuel tanks. The boat accommodates 10 seated persons plus one casualty on a stretcher, with a full launching mass of 4,200 kg.
The ARTIC-850 can be delivered with a GIMS classification certificate under TR CU 026/2012, or with an RMRS (Russian Maritime Register of Shipping) certificate to form 6.5.30 as a fast rescue boat, or under the voluntary certification system (form 9.2.3), making it suitable both for ship-carried rescue duty and for independent patrol and workboat service.
