Communication controllers ARIS-48xx are designed to collect, process and transmit information using both standard protocols and specialised protocols of equipment manufacturers, broadcast telecontrol commands.
ARIS-48xx are used as communication controllers for construction of automatic control systems of substation control systems, SSPI/TM, SOTIASSO at electric substations (substations, substations, substations), power plants, nuclear power plants and other power facilities.

ARIS-48xx controllers fulfil the following reliability requirements:
- average MTBF - not less than 125 000 hours;
