Description

The device is designed to detect short circuits accompanied by an open electric arc and to issue a signal to disconnect the emergency section without time delay for prompt elimination of arc fault. The device is designed for application in secondary switching circuits of 6 - 110 kV switchgears, with alternating, direct or rectified alternating operating current, both as an independent sensor of arc faults and as a peripheral unit of the ZDZ complex.
