Anodic earthing electrode in a coke-pepper shell is designed for use as a low-soluble anode of deep and surface earthing in systems of electrochemical protection against corrosion of main pipelines and underground metal structures. Structurally, the anode earthing electrode is a steel rod with metal strips welded to it at an angle, coupling and coke-peak composition.
A batch of anode earth electrodes of one version is subjected to acceptance tests. In case of detection of non-compliance with any controlled indicator in the process of testing, the products are rejected. After elimination of the defect, the products shall be repeatedly subjected to acceptance tests. The results of acceptance tests shall be formalised by a protocol or reflected in the log in the form of the manufacturer. Periodic tests shall be carried out at least once every 3 years, not less than two products of each version that have passed acceptance tests.
