Ankle joint apparatus is designed for correction, fixation and unloading of the lower limb. It consists of shin and foot sleeves connected by joints that provide motion in the ankle joint in the sagittal plane. The ankle joints are lockless, discrete, with support for the sagging foot.
The product is manufactured by vacuum moulding according to an individual plaster cast from thermoplastic materials, as well as by lamination of carbon and textile materials with resin. The sleeve is decorated with thermal paper. The design of the footbed of the finished product allows the recipient to wear standard footwear.
It is allowed to have a rubber sole to compensate for the length of the limb and ease of walking.The softening inlay is made of foam material and has the possibility of sanitising.The fastening is made in the form of a textile clasp, providing an adjustable degree of fixation of the segments of the lower limb.
