Description
Turn angle sensor type L178/2 is designed to convert the angle of rotation of the wheelset axis into discrete electrical signals used in measuring systems that control the direction of movement, distance travelled, speed and acceleration of railway rolling stock at speeds up to 300 km/h.
The sensor is a part of the devices that measure and control the above movement parameters. The sensor is installed on the letterboxes of rolling stock.
