The contaminated air from the machine enters the main chamber of the KOMETA filter. Due to the centrifugal force generated by the fan, liquid contaminants and solid particles are separated, deposited on the walls of the main chamber and drained. At the top of the filter, the remaining coolant vapour condenses into an aerosol.
Large droplets of mist are also deposited on the walls of the upper chamber and drain downwards. The air with minimal mist residues then passes through the filter set. Where it is finally cleaned.
Through the drain manifold, the coolant is directed back to the machine for reuse in the working process
