The GP-40-Okh-PZ is a tabletop hot-air sterilizer manufactured by Kasimov Instrument Plant, a branch of the Ryazan State Instrument Plant (GRPZ OJSC), one of Russia's largest producers of complex electronic and medical equipment. Designed for dry-heat sterilization of surgical instruments, thermostable syringes rated to 200°C, glass labware, and other medical items, the unit distinguishes itself from basic models through a forced-air cooling system: rather than cooling the chamber by admitting outside air onto the load, it circulates air through a dedicated jacket surrounding the chamber, so processed instruments remain in a sterile environment throughout cooldown.
With 40 liters of usable volume, the GP-40-Okh-PZ is the natural upgrade from the 20-liter model while remaining fully desktop-sized and compatible with standard 220 V/50 Hz single-phase power. The stainless-steel chamber and all contact surfaces meet medical-grade corrosion-resistance requirements.
A digital display, non-volatile memory storing up to ten programs, automatic temperature regulation, and a programmable delayed-start function simplify high-throughput workflows. At 1.4 kW maximum draw, the unit reaches 180°C in under 48 minutes and cools to 75°C in under 35 minutes.
The GP-40-Okh-PZ is a registered medical device with an 8-year rated service life and a mean time between failures of no less than 2,500 hours, reflecting the plant's long track record in precision instrument manufacturing.
