Description

The AGRIRICH AR-4 is a mounted deep subsoiler produced by AGRISTO LLC, a Stavropol-based agricultural machinery manufacturer specialising in tillage, seeding, and crop-protection equipment for demanding Russian and CIS farming conditions. Designed specifically for tractors in the 160–200 hp range, the AR-4 delivers reliable deep loosening from 35 to 60 cm — well below the compaction layers that restrict root development and moisture infiltration on heavy and very heavy soils.

The machine carries four parabolic shanks spaced 70 cm apart on a robust double-row American-type frame fabricated from low-alloy steel 09G2S. The main cross-beam uses 160×120×8 mm hollow section, while the longitudinal members are 140×60×7 mm with closed gusset-plate corner reinforcements — a construction engineered to withstand the extreme draft loads generated at depth.

Unlike European paraflow-type shanks that deflect soil sideways, the American-profile parabolic shanks cut through the profile without lateral displacement and require noticeably less tractive effort. Each shank is fitted with a shear-bolt overload protection as standard; a spring-type or hydraulic protection system is optionally available.

Working depth is set through the transport wheels, making depth control independent of tractor hitch position and enabling work on wet or uneven ground. Optional accessories include wavy coulter discs (Ø 510 mm) ahead of each shank, a roller per shank, or a three-row spring harrow for seedbed finishing.

Shank System

High-Strength Parabolic Shank

Italian-made high-strength parabolic shank with 60° attack angle, 100 cm height, and 30×130 mm cross-section for working depths up to 60 cm. Three interchangeable deflector widths — 30 mm (slit loosening), 60 mm (medium disturbance), and 60 mm with lateral wings (maximum disturbance) — allow the tillage intensity to be matched to soil conditions.

Block-Type Shank Mounting

The shank is secured in a special 'block' clamp with a wide pivot axis that eliminates lateral shank movement during work and prevents clamp deformation when striking a stone. Two shear bolts provide the primary overload protection, and the assembly is fully compatible with optional spring or hydraulic protection upgrades.
