The ИФХ-500-2С is a stationary two-chamber farm incubator manufactured by АО «ОНИИП» — the Omsk Scientific Research Institute of Instrumentation, a Russian precision-engineering enterprise that brings its instrumentation expertise to modern agricultural equipment. The unit is designed to incubate eggs of chickens, ducks, geese, and other poultry species, operating reliably in indoor environments with ambient temperatures from 10 to 30°C and relative humidity from 40 to 80%, which makes it well-suited for a wide range of climatic conditions.
The incubator holds up to 500 chicken eggs (each up to 56 g) distributed across six incubation trays and five separate hatching trays, with 83 eggs per incubation tray and 100 per hatching tray. Incubation and hatching take place in distinct chambers, supporting better biosecurity and independent process control for each stage.
Temperature is automatically regulated in the 36–38°C range with ±0.5°C accuracy, and humidity is held between 40–70% by an enhanced automatic control algorithm. Tray rotation is fully automated, with manual override available directly from the operator module.
The "2С" designation identifies this variant by its glass-panel doors, which allow continuous visual observation of the hatching process without disturbing chamber conditions. The operator module can be positioned remotely — for example, in an adjacent room — and a USB interface enables PC connectivity for parameter logging and remote monitoring.
Rated power consumption does not exceed 1.4 kWh, supplied at 230 V. The unit carries a rated service life of at least 7 years.
