Microsyringe AGAT MSH-1 is designed for measuring the volume of a liquid sample when it is introduced into the pipette-evaporator of a chromatograph.
The microsyringe is a mechanical piston dosing device consisting of a glass cylinder with a counting device (linear scale), a steel piston (rod) with a button and a steel needle.
The principle of operation is based on the creation in the removable tip (needle) of the glass cylinder alternately vacuum or overpressure, as a result of which the dosed liquid is sucked into or drained from the tip. Vacuum and overpressure are created by moving a metal piston in the calibrated channel of the glass cylinder of the microsyringe.
The microsyringe is made of chemically resistant materials: borosilicate glass and stainless steel. The body is marked with an indelible scale with an illuminating strip and duplicating risks on the opposite side of the cylinder to eliminate the effect of parallax. The microsyringe has a removable needle and sealing system.
