Description

The MEGACOUNT 3D Stereo is a next-generation AI-powered people counter developed and manufactured in Russia by MEGACOUNT LLC. Unlike conventional IR-beam or single-camera sensors, it uses a dual-lens stereovision system: two image sensors feed a high-performance neural processor that constructs a real-time 3D mathematical model of the scene, identifies and tracks visitor heads, and counts entries, exits, and passersby with accuracy up to 100%.

The algorithm intelligently filters out shadows, reflections, children, baby strollers, and shopping carts, eliminating the false positives that undermine simpler counters. The unit measures just 135 × 65 × 25 mm, mounts at heights from 2 to 10 m, and is powered entirely via PoE over Gigabit Ethernet, with optional WLAN.

Its 140° wide-angle lenses cover broad entrances without gaps. Beyond counting, the device provides AI-driven analytics including gender recognition, visitor dwell-time measurement, staff exclusion, and visitor photo and video archiving.

Data exports in TXT, XML, JSON, RTSP H.264/H.265, MP4, and JPEG are delivered over FTP, sFTP, HTTP, or HTTPS. The counter runs MEGACOUNT's own OMEGA and STATISTICS software and carries a 4-year warranty, with OMEGA users covered by MEGACOUNT's lifetime guarantee programme.
