The 2Л1200 is a heavy-duty belt conveyor with a 1,200 mm belt width, designed and manufactured by LLC Makeevsky Zavod Lazer, a Russian industrial machinery plant with deep roots in the coal-mining sector. Established on the site of a former mine in Makeevka in 1968 and reorganized as Zavod Lazer in 1995, the company concentrates its output on mining and processing equipment for the coal industry.
Its 250-strong workforce operates across more than 24,000 sq.m of production space equipped with over 300 machine tools, enabling a complete in-house production cycle from casting and heat treatment through precision machining to final assembly and quality inspection.
The 2Л1200 is configured with one or two independent drive units, each rated at up to 160 kW, moving material on a 1,200 mm belt at speeds selectable between 1.0 and 5.0 m/s. Corresponding throughput ranges from 9.8 m³/min at the lowest speed to 49.5 m³/min at the highest, meeting the demands of continuous coal transport along gate roads and main haulage entries.
The 1,400 mm drum shell length reduces peak belt tension and extends belt service life. The conveyor operates across inclination angles from −10° to +18°, covering the typical geometry of underground development headings and panel haulage layouts.
Standard configurations span 30 to 500 m in length, with longer custom builds produced to order.
