What information do I need to provide for a quotation?

Can a Russian plate exchanger replace an existing European unit?
In most cases yes, as a functional replacement matched to the same duty point and connection sizes. Suppliers do not copy proprietary plates, but they will size an equivalent unit and adapt flange positions where possible. Send the old unit's datasheet or nameplate photo for the fastest match.
What about gaskets and spare plates later on?
Gaskets and plates for the supplier's own models are stocked at the factory and ship worldwide by courier. A prudent practice for remote sites is ordering a gasket set and several spare plates with the unit itself — the added cost is small compared with downtime.
Are the exchangers pressure-tested and documented?
