•What chest of drawers sizes are standard?
Standard widths 600/800/1000/1200/1400 mm; depths 400-500 mm; heights 800-1200 mm. Number of drawers: 3, 4, 5, 6 or 3+2 (smaller drawers on top). High chests (tallboys, 1200-1500 mm height) common for bedrooms; long lowboys for living rooms. Custom widths from 50 units OEM.
•What drawer runners do you use?
Standard: Boyard DB ball-bearing runners, 35-45 kg load, full extension. Premium: Blum Tandem with BLUMOTION soft-close (50-65 kg, 100% extension), Hettich Quadro. Push-to-open (handle-less) on Blum Tip-On — popular for minimalist designs. All premium SKUs include soft-close as standard.
•Material options for chest tops and bodies?
Body: chipboard E1 with PET-film or HPL (16 mm). Top: MDF with PU lacquer (matte/gloss/structured), solid wood (oak/birch, 20-25 mm), stone-effect HPL, marble-look porcelain stoneware (for premium). Drawer bottoms: 3 mm HDF, drawer sides: 16 mm chipboard or birch plywood for premium.
•MOQ and lead times for export?
MOQ 30 units stocked colors, 50 units OEM. Lead time 30-45 days for in-stock decors, 50-60 days for custom PU-painted MDF or HPL. FOB St. Petersburg / Novorossiysk / Vladivostok. KD packaging — flat-pack carton with hardware bag, instruction manual EN/multi-lang.
•How many chests in a 40HQ container?
Compact 3-drawer (600-800 mm, KD): 280-350 units. 4-5 drawer mid-size (800-1000 mm): 180-240 units. Long lowboy 1400 mm: 120-160 units. Tallboy 1200 mm height: 150-200 units. Volume optimization — we mix SKU sizes to fill 67-68 m³ efficiently.
•Certifications for US/EU markets?
CARB Phase 2 / TSCA Title VI (US composite wood), California Prop 65 labeling. EU: EN 14749 storage furniture, EN 14072 glass on furniture (if mirrored top), REACH. Tip-over safety per ASTM F2057 — we supply anti-tip straps with all chests > 762 mm tall (US requirement).
•Tip-over safety and US compliance?
All chests > 76 cm tall ship with anti-tip wall-anchor kit (strap + wood screws + drywall anchors) per US STURDY Act / ASTM F2057. Stability tested at 27 kg pull-out load with drawers open. Warning label in EN/SP. We can OEM kits with your brand on request from 100 units.
•Handle options and customization?
200+ handle SKUs from Boyard/GTV stock: knobs, bar handles, recessed pulls, push-to-open (handle-less), leather strap pulls. Materials: chrome, brushed nickel, antique brass, matt black, gold, copper. Custom handles from your supplier — we install free from 50 units.
•Payment terms?
TT 30% deposit / 70% against B/L copy. LC at sight for orders > USD 30,000. Open account 30 days for repeat customers (after 3 successful orders). UAE invoicing via our DMCC Dubai partner for MENA buyers to bypass SWIFT restrictions on RU banks.
