The Vortex DUAL is a professional dual-extrusion delta 3D printer manufactured by Techno Intellect LLC, a Russian engineering company headquartered in Surgut. Built on a delta kinematics platform with a proprietary system of independently switching print heads, the machine achieves print speeds up to 1.5 times faster than conventional FDM machines, with working accelerations reaching 2000 mm/s² and positioning speeds up to 300 mm/s.
Both extruders reach temperatures of up to 340°C, making the printer compatible with demanding engineering thermoplastics including ABS-PRO, Nylon, HIPS, PVA, and standard PLA, as well as ABS. The steel-and-glass heated bed reaches 130°C and is equipped with automatic surface leveling.
A swappable arm-set design gives operators two distinct build envelopes from a single machine: long arms yield a 400 mm height by 320 mm diameter cylinder, while short arms extend the reach to 520 mm in height at 180 mm diameter. The fully enclosed polycarbonate-walled steel cabinet measures 46×54×90 cm and weighs 30 kg.
Control is handled through an integrated 7-inch 1280×800 capacitive touchscreen running Windows 10 IoT on an Intel Cherry Trail Z8350 quad-core processor with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB flash storage; onboard Wi-Fi enables remote connection and real-time G-code visualization. Minimum layer height is 0.05 mm, and nozzle diameters from 0.2 to 0.8 mm are supported.
Maximum power draw is 600 W at 220 V. The printer ships with a 12-month manufacturer warranty and an EEU Declaration of Conformity.
