The Model M 3017 is a single-tier metal bed with a welded wire mesh base, manufactured by ЗЛМК Shans (Shans Light Metal Structures Plant) in Birobidzhan, Russia. The plant operates its own production lines and supplies metal-framed furniture to medical, institutional, and residential buyers across the country.
The M 3017 is designed specifically for general wards in medical-prophylactic and health-improving institutions, as well as residential facilities and children's recreational centers. Its fully welded steel frame consists of a rectangular tube side-rail assembly and circular tube headboards and footboards, built to current Russian GOST standards — ГОСТ 8639-82 for rectangular and square tube sections, ГОСТ 10704-91 for circular tubes, and ГОСТ 19904-90 for sheet components.
The sleep surface is a continuous welded wire mesh made from ВР-1 wire (ø4.0 mm) per ГОСТ 6727-80, ensuring uniform load distribution. The frame supports a static load of 260 kg over overall dimensions of 2000 × 900 mm at a bed height of 800 mm.
Backrest section adjustment is mechanical. The protective-decorative finish is applied in any color agreed with the customer, letting hospitals match facility color standards.
The assembly breaks down into two removable nodes — the side-rail assembly and the head/footboard — simplifying transport and on-site installation. The bed is produced to order and ships throughout Russia.
