The V7-64/3 is a high-precision laboratory multimeter developed and manufactured by RITM OJSC, a Russian instrument-making company that has specialized in the development, production and servicing of radio-electronic equipment since 1958. Introduced in 2008 as the updated version of the proven V7-64, the instrument fully matches the functional and metrological parameters of the base V7-64/1 model while delivering significantly improved measurement speed, stability and linearity.
The multimeter measures DC and AC voltage, DC and AC current, DC resistance and frequency, covering DC voltage from 1 microvolt up to 1000 V with an accuracy of 0.004 percent and resistance up to 1000 megohms with 0.01 percent accuracy. A key strength of the V7-64/3 is true RMS measurement of non-sinusoidal AC signals with a high crest factor, which makes readings reliable on distorted real-world waveforms, not just clean sine waves.
AC voltage is measured from 1 mV to 700 V across a 10 Hz to 1 MHz band, and frequency measurement extends from 1 Hz all the way to 700 MHz with 0.001 percent accuracy. The instrument is equipped with an RS-232 interface and is designed to operate as part of automated measurement systems, making it well suited for calibration laboratories, production test stations and research facilities that require traceable, repeatable precision measurements.
