The AMKODOR 2561 is a heavy-duty wheeled harvester produced by Amkodor-Onego LLC, a Russian manufacturer of forest harvesting machinery based in Petrozavodsk, Republic of Karelia, and part of the broader AMKODOR holding group. The machine is purpose-built for clear-cut logging operations, combining tree felling, delimbing, and stem cross-cutting into precisely measured log assortments in a single continuous pass.
Power comes from a Minsk Motor Plant D-262S2 diesel engine with electronic management, rated at 220.6 kW (300 hp). The 6×6 hydromechanical drivetrain reaches up to 27 km/h in its top gear, with 100% differential lock on both front and rear axles for reliable traction in soft and uneven forest terrain.
All axle assemblies are manufactured in-house by AMKODOR in Belarus.
The boom-mounted AMKODOR KH20010/KH25010 manipulator extends to a 10-metre reach and delivers a gross load moment of up to 250 kNm, pairing with the AMKODOR HH630 harvester head that handles stems up to 630 mm in diameter. The sealed operator cab carries full ROPS/FOPS/OPS certification, features an integrated air conditioner, and is hydraulically raised for service access.
Both the base 2561 and the heavier 2561-01 variant (18,200 kg and 19,300 kg respectively) are rated for ambient temperatures from −30 °C to +40 °C, making them well-suited to the demanding boreal conditions of northwest Russia and eligible for domestic-production subsidy and preferential leasing programmes.
