Description

The HYGROVISION-BL is an automatic condensation dew-point analyzer manufactured by NPO Vympel LLC, a Russian instrument-engineering company specializing in moisture measurement for the gas and oil industries. The device uniquely combines an automatic inline flow analyzer and a manual visual chilled-mirror hygrometer in a single portable unit — a capability that Vympel claims no other manufacturer in its class has achieved.

The instrument measures both water and hydrocarbon dew points by exploiting the Brewster-angle total refraction effect on a cooled dielectric mirror, coupled with a patented dual-channel optical observation system featuring 40× microscope magnification. Measurement accuracy reaches ±0.25 °C in Class A configuration across a dew point range from −60 °C to ambient.

The unit operates at gas pressures up to 23 MPa, accepts gas flows of 0.5–5 dm³/min, and offers IP67 environmental protection suitable for outdoor or hazardous-area installation. Autonomous operation from an internal rechargeable battery (minimum 4 hours) ensures continuity during power failures.

HYGROVISION-BL Analyzer

The HYGROVISION-BL compact portable dew-point analyzer features a rugged IP67 enclosure with dimensions 165×204×257 mm and weighs 7.5 kg without accessories.

Touchscreen Interface

Field Configuration

Gas Inlet Assembly

Gas is connected via a Dk-Lok fitting for 6 mm OD tubing; a filter for glycol and heavy hydrocarbon removal is included in the standard delivery set.

Microscope Attachment

The 40× microscope (КРАУ3.821.003) attaches to the observation port, enabling visual confirmation of condensation type — water droplets versus hydrocarbon films — during manual measurement.

Transport Case

The analyzer ships in a purpose-made transport case (ВМПЛ4.161.012 or ВМПЛ4.161.003 depending on configuration) along with the pressure control system, gas inlet system, cables, and charging unit.
