SW-212HDAE is designed for automatic or controlled switching of 3G/HD/SD-SDI and DVB-ASI TS signals. It has two main modes of operation: 2-in-1 switch or automatic standby switch. In the first case the device is controlled by a button on the front panel or remotely, in the second case it analyses the signal presence on each input and can automatically switch to the backup input in case of signal loss on the main input.
The alarm state latching mode allows the switch to remain on the backup input even after the main input signal is restored. The signal path includes two automatic input amplifiers and a 2-in-1 switch with a carrier recovery unit. Adaptive frequency correction and carrier recovery are performed in the signal path.
In case of power failure, the signal from input "A" is fed to output "1" via a relay. Manual local control is performed by a button on the front panel, via Ethernet or GPI signals.
