Description
SW-2212HDAE-12G is a 12G/3G/HD/SD-SDI signal switcher. It consists of two independent 2-in-1 switches (channels) with output branching to 2. Each channel has a relay bypass, equipped with control buttons and indication. Cable correctors are installed at the inputs and carrier frequency restorers at the outputs.
The switch has two modes of operation - 2-in-1 switch and standby switch. In the first case, both inputs are equivalent, control is performed by front panel buttons, GPI signals or via Ethernet. In automatic mode, the switch analyses the presence of a signal on each input and can switch to the standby input if the main input fails. The alarm state latching mode allows the switch to stay on the "Backup" input after the signal appears on the "Main" input.
