Gas turbine engine NK-16-18ST ser.2

Gas turbine engine NK-16-18ST is designed for use as a blower drive for gas pumping unit GPA-C-16 and GPA-16 "Volga". It is developed on the basis of aircraft engine NK-8-2U ser.2. The engine NK-16-18-ST ser.2 has a hydromechanical control system.

The engine is manufactured both from new parts and assemblies and with the use of parts and assemblies of aircraft engines of the NK-8 family that have outlived their service life in flight operation. In this case, parts and assemblies of basic aircraft engines must be repaired according to the repair documentation in force for them. In the resources of the engine parts and assemblies as part of the basic aircraft parts are not taken into account but are fixed.
