Description
Gas turbine engine NK-16-18STD is designed for use as a blower drive of gas pumping unit GPA-C-16 and GPA-16 "Volga". It is developed on the basis of aircraft engine NK-8-2U ser.2. It has an electronic-hydraulic control system. A DUS metering unit with a control unit is used as an actuator dosing fuel gas supply to the combustion chamber. NK-16-18STD and NK-16-18STDV engines are interchangeable provided that they are completed with a control unit of their own layout and appropriate harnesses. The engines are manufactured both from new parts and assemblies and with the use of parts and assemblies of aircraft engines of the NK-8 family that have exhausted their service life in flight operation. In this case, parts and assemblies of the basic aircraft engines must be repaired according to the repair documentation in force for them.
