Description

Gas turbine engine NK-16-18STD ser.6 is designed for use as a blower drive of gas pumping unit GPA-C-16 and GPA-16 "Volga". It is developed on the basis of aircraft engine NK-86 (A). It has an electronic-electrical system of automatic regulation.

A DUS metering unit with a control unit is used as an actuator dosing fuel gas supply to the combustion chamber. The engines are manufactured both from new parts and assemblies and using parts and assemblies of the NK-8 family of aircraft engines that have outlived their service life in flight operation. In this case, parts and assemblies of basic aircraft engines must be repaired according to the repair documentation in force for them.
