The goniometric unit (GU) is a measuring instrument and is designed for measuring angular displacements during the control of para-metres of angle measuring transducers. This unit allows control of the following parameters of photoelectric digital angle transducers:
-Information capacity (total number of codes);
-Monotonicity of code values succession;
-Maximum value of error (static error) of angular coordinates of code values change at operating frequency (speed) of shaft rotation;
-Reliability of the code in static mode;
-Maximum value of error (dynamic error) of angular coordinates of code value change at maximum operating frequency (speed) of shaft rotation;
-Reliability of the code in dynamic mode.
