Kulaks unclamping are installed in the braking mechanisms of wheels of motor transport and are designed for automatic and manual adjustment of the gap between the shoes and the brake drum. Expander cam is a shaft with two cams that serve for simultaneous separation of two brake pads of the brake mechanism.
When braking, turning the shaft of the expander cam causes the pads to press against the brake drum.
