Purpose
Electric pumps of single screw type EVN are designed for pumping bilge-ballast water, contaminated with oil products and mechanical impurities with particle size up to 2 mm and temperature up to 50.C. Electric pumps EVN have self-priming ability, have the same head of 50m and differ depending on the supply of 2,8 and 5 m3/hour.
General information
Electric pumps of type EVN belong to positive displacement pumps. The working body of the pump consists of a fixed rubber cage and a steel screw rotating in it.
The inner surface of the rubber cage is a double-ended screw surface with a pitch twice as large as the pitch of the screw. When the screw rotates, free cavities are formed between it and the cage, into which the working fluid is sucked and moves along the axis of the screw to the discharge cavity, while a vacuum is created in the suction side.
