Drill pipe locks and technological locks for tubing A massive connecting element of drill pipe with a large conical thread and thrust sealing ledges (shoulders), designed to withstand the weight of the drill string, resisting the force of repeated assemblies and disassemblies, resistance to fatigue, providing a tight seal. The section to be covered (nipple) is made at one end of the drill pipe and the section to be covered (coupling) is made at the opposite end.
The locks can be welded to the drill pipe, threaded or a combination of welding and threading can be used. Technological locks are designed to work with tubing (tubing) in oil and gas wells of any profile, consisting of connecting elements - coupling and adapter, having on one side the connecting thread to the tubing, on the other side - the working thread to connect the pipes in the string.
