Description

The module is designed to switch loads to the common (minus) wire of the field supply at a field supply voltage of 24 VDC. It has eight discrete output channels with a maximum load current of 0.5 A and short-circuit protection. Automatic temperature monitoring of each power switch is performed to detect short circuits or excessive load current in the output circuit. The four channels can be used to generate a PWM signal with a repetition rate of up to 1000 Hz, a minimum pulse (half-wave) duration of 400 µs and a half-wave sampling weight of 50 µs, which can be set during the module parameterisation.
